6th Annual Golf Tournament

WERC is again sponsoring a golf tournament this spring to raise funds to continue its efforts in restoration of properties and revitalization in Belleville's West End. Play, sponsor, donate or volunteer to support WERC's mission.

  • When: Friday, May 31st
  • Time: Registration and lunch begin at 11:30 am. Shotgun start at 12:30 pm.
  • Where: Grand Marais Golf Course (4500 Pocket Road, Centreville, Illinois)
  • Player fee: $80 per person or $320 per team. Entry fee includes golf, cart, lunch, beverages during scramble and dinner/cash bar at Shenanigans (15 N 64th Street in Belleville)
  • Sponsorships: Sponsorships available from $100-$1,000

Registration and Sponsorship Form - Please fill out the registration form to play or sponsor the tournment. Kindly return the form and payment to WERC at 9700 West Main Street by May 22nd.

Volunteers are needed for the day of the tournament. Please contact Tim or Chuck to sign up to volunteer.

The West End Redevelopment Corp. (WERC) has made great strides in restoration and revitalization in West Belleville. True to our mission as a catalyst for home ownership, neighborhood stabilization and community revitalization, we have recently sold two totally renovated homes on Olympia Dr. which are now home to two new families in our community. We have completed renovation of a two-bedroom home at 20 S. 101st St. that is currently for sale. We have plans for renovating another home at 110 N. 98th St. and WERCÕs office building at 9700 W. Main St. WERC has launched a capital campaign to raise $200,000 to assist with these projects and to purchase and renovate additional properties in the area.

We invite you to share in our efforts and accomplishments by becoming a member of WERC or renewing your WERC membership. Your fully tax-deductible donations enable us to continue development in the community and promote and encourage home ownership and revitalization.
